Upon arrival you will be picked up by your safari guide and transferred to House of Waine. House Of Waine is an 11 bedroom luxury boutique hotel on 2.5 acres that blends the elegance of gracious living with the spirit of modern Africa in an exclusive and serene setting. Immersed in the leafy surrounds of Kenya’s beautiful Karen Forest is the elegant House of Waine – an upmarket retreat, which offers guests intimacy and superb accommodation. Guests can unwind in one of 11 individually decorated suites —each with a spacious, marble en-suite bathroom, satellite television, a complimentary personal non-alcoholic mini-bar, TV with satellite and local channels, and tea and coffee-making facilities. After breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Arrive for lunch at Sarova Mara Camp. Afternoon game drive until sunset. Sarova Mara Game Camp is ideally located in the heart of the Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya and offers a unique African safari experience for game viewing. The luxury safari camps include 12 Club Tents, 8 Superior Deluxe Tents, 52 Deluxe Tents with upgrades on some tents currently in progress, and 3, 2-bedroom Family Tents. All our tented accommodation is master ensuite while some Club Tents offer a spectacular view of the rolling Savannah plains. The organic garden provides the freshest ingredients for our exceptional cuisine with bush dining options available.

Situated in the southwest of Kenya, covering an area of 1,510 square km (583 square miles), the Masai Mara National Reserve is a land of breathtaking vistas, abundant wildlife and endless plains. The quintessential Masai Mara safari delivers many attractions, as the reserve is home to an excellent year-round concentration of game, including the more than two million wildebeest, zebras and other antelopes that make up the famous Great Migration. &Beyond owns 2 lodges in the Masai Mara; Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp and Bateleur Camp. The reserve is a photographer’s and naturalist’s paradise, with abundant elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion and cheetah alongside the migratory wildebeest and zebra. Leopards are frequently encountered, endangered black rhino hide in the dense thickets and large rafts of hippo and enormous crocodiles are found in the Mara River. The park is also home to over 450 bird species.

After breakfast drive to the border town of Isebania. Change of vehicles and clear customs/immigration. Continue to Lake Victoria arriving for late lunch at Rubondo Island Camp. Afternoon at leisure. A remote island in Tanzania's Lake Victoria, Rubondo offers an incredibly unique adventure experience in a pristine sub-tropical ecosystem where elephants and chimpanzees roam wild. Rubondo Island Camp overlooks the vast waters of Lake Victoria. As the only camp in the wild and virtually uninhabited Rubondo Island National Park, it is a truly special place to experience. Overlooking Lake Victoria, it’s surrounded by tropical forests and is home to chimpanzees, elephants, giraffes and 300 species of birds. Meals are served al fresco on the main deck overlooking the beach, where you can relax with your toes in the sand. Spend afternoons in a hammock, binoculars and bird guide in hand or cooling off in the pool. As the sun sets, watch hippos emerge from the water to graze on the grass around camp.

After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park arriving in time for lunch at Serengeti Migration Camp. Hidden among the rocky outcrops Serengeti Migration Camp is located at the starting point of the Migration. Comprising of 20 luxurious elevated tents, each with spacious and richly furnished bedrooms, Serengeti Migration Camp blends seamlessly into the environment. Each of the tents is surrounded by its own 360-degree verandah deck, which in turn creates your very own private sanctuary to enjoy the constant game sightings and the ever-present sounds of the bush.

The Great Migration pulses and pauses, but is in more-or-less constant, million-animal movement throughout the year. Nestled amidst huge, kopje-like boulders overlooking the always lively Grumeti River, Migration Camp is designed for spectacular game-viewing, luxurious relaxation, and a full, vitalizing dose of the world-unique—solar system unique!—Serengeti. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle.

The spectacle of predator versus prey dominates Tanzania’s greatest park. Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while a high density of cheetahs prowls the southeastern plains. Almost uniquely, all three African jackal species occur here, alongside the spotted hyena and a host of more elusive small predators, ranging from the insectivorous aardwolf to the beautiful serval cat.

After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving in time for lunch, check in at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge. Rest of the day at leisure. Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is built on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, and its natural stone and ivy-covered walls blends in with its surroundings. The lodge has taken the cave paintings of Olduvai Gorge as its main décor inspiration, with all the interiors filled with African artifacts and frescos. Enjoy game drives on the crater floor - home to an impressive wildlife and birdlife - or enjoy a guided hike with a picnic across the Serengeti plains or among the nearby volcanic mountains of the Crater Highlands.

Spanning cascading verdant hills, luxuriant wetlands, and immense golden plateaus, the Ngorongoro Crater is a dreamy safari destination boasting a wealth of opportunities to witness the wildlife during your short stay in the caldera. From spotting massive lions lounging in the shade to rhinos and their calves peacefully grazing the short grass, you will be eager to discover these momentous creatures as well as the remainder of the Big Five. You may also learn more about the origins of humankind during a visit to the intriguing Olduvai Gorge, a valuable site answering questions on the evolution of our species.

After breakfast we depart for the Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania's dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals - the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings. After a picnic lunch we do an afternoon game drive.

You will check in into Nimali Tarangire Camp - a small and intimate tented camp nestled under the shade of acacia trees and overlooking a dry riverbed bordered by huge and dramatic granite boulders. The camp sits on its own private concession bordering Tarangire National Park. The concession, together with the surrounding Wildlife Management Area, is simply an extension of the Park and offers exclusive game viewing away from the crowds. There are no fences between our private concession, the surrounding Wildlife Management Area or the National Park and animals wander freely between these areas.

After breakfast, drive to Arusha. Drop off at Kilmanjaro Airport for your onward flight or transfer to your Arusha Hotel. Our representative will reconfirm your onward flights and assist at check-in.
